  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the
    previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant #22 ($177,587.03).
  4. Josh discussed concerns with property lines and the right of way with a bordering property on the Varney Road.
  5. Bob brought in his Tree Growth Application.
  6. Road commissioner Dan Goucher discussed the recent paving and road work along with his plans for the remainder of the year.

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail. 

  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting. 

  3. The select board met with Tim Bickford, the 911 addressing officer, about giving out address numbers and discussed private roads and road signage. 

  4. The select board received bond paperwork from Troy Bean for the snow plowing contract and concerns over the placement of snow at the Community Room/Fire Station. 

  5. The select board talked with Johnathan and James Krause about the snow plow turn around located on the Varney Road. The Krauses had concerns over the private driveway that comes out on his property.

  6. The select board met with Charles Berader and Lidi Robbins, from The 30 Mile River Watershed Association, about grant writing and the needs of the Town. Charles has taken on the Grant writing for The 30 Mile River Watershed Association. Charles will also oversee grants the Town has and will apply for help with culvert replacements. They discussed adding a Steering Committee to oversee the projects. The Committee members would comprise local residents assisting the select board.

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail. 

  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting. 

  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant #21 ($112,591.82 ). 

  4. The select board reviewed a response letter in regards to a resident's concerns about their taxes. 

  5. Broadband Warrant # 6 ($74,000). 

  6. Consolidated Communications will have their Make Ready process finished by the end of January 2025 then the Vienna Broadband will begin to hang fiber.

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail. 

  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting. 

  3. The select board emailed a copy of a property card to a realtor for Map #3 lot 73. . 

  4. The select board talked with Ed about today's Broadband Meeting and how to get information out to the residents. The following ideas were discussed; 

    A. Send out a letter on a Vienna Letterhead and mail in the Towns envelopes. 

    B. Have an informational lunch. 

  5. The select board approved having Fitch Heating install a heat pump into the Broadband Central Office. The building will be at the correct temperature for the equipment to operate efficiently. 

  6. Mike Rogers reviewed the Towns Property Sales/transfer to set our compliance percentage with our mill rate. 

  7. The select board opened three winter sand bids; 

    i. Castonguay: $7.25 per yard of sand 

    ii. Robbin Day: $7.25 per yard of sand 

    iii. Dave Stephens: $6.00 per yard of sand 

    The contract was awarded to Dave Stephens, out of Belgrade, for $6.00 per yard for winter sand. The Town of Vienna will purchase 1,000 to 1,500 yards this year in order to bring the supply up to 2,500+ yards. 

  8.  Mike Rogers reviewed all property sales/ transitions for the 2023 year along with property cards along with reviewing the tax commitment and evaluations.
