Open Burning Permits: Available through the Fire Departments free. Firefighters listed on our homepage with an asterisk(*) next to their names are authorized to issue Open Burning Permits. If an applicant wishes to receive a Burning Permit during a period of time when members of the department may not be available because of the time of day, the prospective applicant may purchase a permit through the State online.
