- Reviewed and signed Warrant #14.
- Opened and distributed mail.
- John Archard, CEO discussed a Stop Work Order due to violations on a project on the Kimball Pond Road. The property owners have been notified and John is working with them to get the project back on track.
- John, as Code Enforcement Officer will check on the Stream road property - three or more unregistered automobiles classifies the property as a junk yard which is a violation.
- Burt Whittier came in to look at tax maps. Discussed the apparent improvement of the Rugged Mountain Road and the Carr Hill Road. It was unclear who made the improvements.
- Discussed the ongoing bear issue in town. The Game Warden set a live trap at the former dump site after sightings of an injured bear in the area.
- Signed and returned the Maine Department of Transportation Road Assistance form. Vienna is scheduled to receive $ 26,000 plus from July 2013 – June 2014.
- Discussed the water testing at the local swimming area/boat launch on Rt. 41. Dan Onion, Health Officer, has done one test – he will follow up with two more.

Selectmen’s Note: The first test showed a high number for EColi. The next two showed very low numbers ( 1 and 5 ) – virtually negative. Going forward, it will be our policy to test the water at the beginning of every summer.
