  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. The selectmen updated “The Who You Going To Call?” list (a list of town officials and contact numbers for town services).
  4. The selectmen signed the off road plowing and shoveling contract for the 2020-2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 years.
  5. The selectmen discussed a tree growth question. The tree growth paperwork has been filed.
  6. The Selectmen completed the USDA forms necessary for the Vienna Fire Department loan for the fire truck. The USDA sends forms to the town every year for the length of the loan.
  7. The selectmen received a new deed for 576 Tower Road, joining two adjoining lots.
  8. The town of Vienna received two tax transfers from the State of Maine for properties which are changing ownership.

  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant # 7 ($87,329.35).
  4. The selectmen received a check from the MMA $66.00 workers comp reimbursement check.
  5. The town received a list of current customers from both DirectTV and DishTV.
  6. The selectmen voted to accept the State of Maine updated general guidance for the COVID-19 emergency declared by Governor Mills.

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. The Selectmen discussed a complaint about a camper being parked on a lot on Davis Road. The concern is the sewer and what was being done with the waste. The resident informed us he has Harris septic is pumping the waste. The selectmen have requested a receipt.
  4. The town received a letter from the Waste Management informing us of the price per ton for our trash/recyclables.
  5. Dodi is working on some “clean up” work for the town. She will finish up tax transfers with Creston Gather.
  6. The state has dropped the Town of Vienna down to an 88% tax. This means the town is only taxing property at 88% of the value. The town will plan to have the town accessed this upcoming year. This 88% will affect Homestead Exemption and Military Exemption.
  7. The selectmen received the tax transfers for the 2019-2020 year.

  1. Reviewed and dispersed the mail.
  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant # 8 ($22,435.38).
  4. The selectmen opened bids for the spring clean up and the yearly lawn mowing contract. The contract was awarded to Luke Olson for spring clean up and Devin Webster for the mowing contract. Smith will contact all and inform them as to the results.

    Luke Olson:
       Clean-up - $485
       Per mowing - $350
    Devin Webster:
       Clean-up - $1,250
       Per mowing - $225
    Nystrom Lawn & Landscape:
       Clean-up - $1,805
       Per mowing - $365
     
  5. The selectmen worked on updating property cards.
  6. The selectmen reviewed an email from the Town Health Officer about non-residents not self-quarantining. The selectboard will post around the town to remind people to please, self-quarantine.

  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant # 9 ($64,801.68).
  4. The selectmen looked into off-road plowing payments.
  5. The selectmen discussed the culvert issue at Parker Pond. The culvert gets clogged by beaver every year. This issue is being dealt with.
