  3. Reviewed and signed Warrant #14 ($17,891.24).
  4. The selectboard discussed a culvert issue on Tower Road. The culvert is plugged by beaver and the water is over the culvert on the Whittier Pond side.
  5. Reviewed and signed Broadband Warrant #2 ($50,670.70).
  6. The selectboard discussed the snow turn around on the Varney Road.
  7. The selectboard discussed the Broadband Control building and what is needed.

  4. The selectboard hired a person to trap beavers that are causing issues on Tower Road.
  5. The selectboard discussed the Community Resilience Grants.
  6. The selectboard talked with residents about their concerns regarding the evaluation and taxes on their homes.
  7. The Town received FEMA’s 80% reimbursement from the May 2023 storm expenditure.
  8. The select board discussed an ongoing beaver issue on Tower Road with a resident.
  9. The select board met with Randy Butler of Dirigo Engineering and Whitney Baker of The 30 Mile River Watershed to discuss the ongoing need for the replacement of several culverts.

  2. The selectmen read and accepted the minutes from the previous meeting.
  3. The selectboard talked with the Langevins about replacing a culvert at the end of their driveway.
  4. The selectboard discussed the Varney Road snowplow turnaround.
  5. The Town received a FEMA reimbursement of $172,345.00 from the May 2023 storm. $50,000.00 was allocated to the road maintenance budget, $60,000.00 to the paving account, and the remainder to the General account to repay funds used for storm repairs.
  6. The Town is seeking a new editor for the Vienna Newsletter, as the current editor has officially resigned, effective immediately.
  7. The selectboard discussed residents' concerns over their property taxes and evaluations.
