The meeting convened at 7:00 PM at the Town House. Regular members present were Waine Whittier, Alan Williams, Nanou Laliberte, and Ed Lawless. Minutes of the January 26, 2011 meeting were read and accepted.
Brent Jellison arrived and was issued a Notification of Construction permit for a barn behind his house at 327 Town House Road.
This meeting was advertised as a public hearing regarding a new Floodplain Management Ordinance. No members of the public showed up for this hearing. The Board discussed that the ordinance seems to have a few areas classified as flood zones that should not be. Some areas on Flying Pond and Mill Pond are of particular concern. The Board concluded that we should still support adoption of the new ordinance, but continue our efforts to have the maps revised.
